Nestled just east of Cleveland’s University Circle is the historic Little Italy, an incredibly vibrant neighborhood for over a century and home to some of the best food you’ll ever taste!
Now for the first time ever, Little Italy has its very own, dedicated concert series. In partnership with Studio Espressivo, the Sunday Studio Series brings together world-class, local artists for live music at the Murray Hill Galleries. Inspired by the community and energy of Little Italy, pianist Allison Hillier and I have curated a second season that celebrates Italian heritage and influence in classical music. By popular demand, we’re introducing Saturday Soirees, an evening presentation of Sunday’s programing! 
Amazing Bel Canto
Saturday, October 5, 8:00 PM Sunday, October 6, 3:00 PM Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, and more! The spirit of Italian opera thrives in the Bel Canto music of these famous composers. Bel Canto or “beautiful song” is a style of singing that developed in eighteenth-century Italy. The lyricism, rich tone, and smooth melodies of Bel Canto make it especially enchanting and poignant. Join us at the Murray Hill Galleries to experience the beauty of the human voice! 
Mozart in Italy

While visiting Italy with his dad, Mozart became a sensation in the great cities of Milan, Rome, Florence, and Naples. He frequented their beautiful theaters and discovered a life-long love for opera that would change the course of music history. In this special concert we explore the work of Mozart’s youth, music full of charm, energy, and optimism.
